Peter Oberschelphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07858493283324484061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-993689447992363506.post-34386682107206553912009-02-02T22:54:00.000+01:002009-02-02T22:54:00.000+01:00Claudia, the English blog is ready: http://christi...Claudia, the English blog is ready: http://christianrunkelenglish.blogspot.com/
I will soon try to translate some of the old German posts. It has been very pleasant to discover people from all around the world tru the Internet.

The Latin poet, Terence said: Homo sum. Humani nihil a me alienum puto. I am human. Nobody is a stranger to me.

He is so right. We all belong together, once we say "Hello!" with a smile.

I have enjoyed seeing your photos. It will be great to read you in English, whenever you have the occasion to use it.

All the best to you, and family.Claudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04307495672130972111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-993689447992363506.post-62617516135722699952009-02-02T13:59:00.000+01:002009-02-02T13:59:00.000+01:00Thank you, Claudia for commenting. It is true, and sometimes the internet helps us to understand this unity better. By the way, through Erkan's link I had some 45 visitors yesterday from all over the world, China, Africa, North- and South America. Erkan is a great man, I found his blog via Google and later visited him in Istanbul.Christian Runkelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17336234017525668142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-993689447992363506.post-46503422277753146362009-02-02T01:59:00.000+01:002009-02-02T01:59:00.000+01:00I hope you'll accept my comment.Coming from Erkan'...I hope you'll accept my comment.

Coming from Erkan's Field Diary (and Canada), I was curious to read how you saw John Updike. Amazing that his various readers, from different countries, could all relate to the American experience as he described it. I guess it proves his strentgh as a writer, and our universal humanity no matter where we come from. Thank you for your post.

Unless you write English or French I won't be able to return. But it was nice to visit.Claudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04307495672130972111noreply@blogger.com
